One of the more intriguing games during Week 10 of the 2025-26 NFL season is the 1:00 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings. Both clubs are looking to fight their way into the playoffs and are coming off big wins during Week 9.
The Ravens (3-5) scored a 28-6 win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night on the road. The big news ahead of that game was that quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to the fold after suffering a hamstring injury in a 37-20 Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens, plagued by injuries, are starting to get healthy, but Nnamdi Madubuike is out for the season, which is a huge loss.
The Vikings (4-4) also got their starting QB back during Week 9. J.J. McCarthy was back on the field for Minnesota for the first time since mid-September when he suffered an ankle injury in a 22-6 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. McCarthy led the Vikings to a 27-24 road win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
The Ravens and Vikings have met seven times before, most recently in 2021 in Baltimore, where the Ravens won 34-31 in overtime. Baltimore leads the series 4-3.

The Ravens were one of the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl. Today, they are in a fight to make the playoffs. Baltimore will likely need to win the AFC North if it hopes to make the postseason this year. That goal is in reach as the Pittsburgh Steelers sit in first with a 5-3 record. The teams are set to meet in early December, which could be a critical contest.
The Ravens will go as far as Lamar Jackson can take them. Jackson went 18-for-23 against the Dolphins for 204 yards and four touchdowns. The Baltimore quarterback has thrown 14 touchdowns on the year to just one interception, and while he has only played five games, his QB rating of 78.9 is tops in the NFL, as is his passer rating of 136.7. Jackson was not a threat on the ground against Miami, but with more practice time, that could change against the Vikings.
The Baltimore defense, the team’s weak spot, which allowed an NFL-worst 34.5 points per game during the first five weeks of the season, has looked strong over the past two weeks. Following a bye in Week 8, the Baltimore defense held the Bears to 16 points and the Dolphins to 6. The D also forced two fumbles and an interception against Miami.
The win over Miami could have been a turning point for Baltimore’s season, but it’s hard to gauge the true meaning of the victory against a team like the 2-7 Dolphins.
The Vikings’ Week 9 win over the Detroit Lionsmoved the team’s record to 4-4, which is good enough to put them in last place in the incredibly competitive NFC North, where the Lions and Bears are 5-3, and the division-leading Packers stand at 5-2-1. Minnesota must continue to win if the team hopes to make the playoffs.
The Vikings need to jump out to a lead in this game and give quarterback J.J. McCarthy some breathing room. McCarthy is prone to making errors when pressured or playing from behind. With that, the offensive line needs to protect its QB from a seemingly resurgent Baltimore defense. The Vikings scored touchdowns on their first two drives against Detroit.
The Vikings’ defense has gotten healthy at a good time. Minnesota limited the Lions’ running game to 142 yards in Week 9. With Derrick Henry in the backfield and Lamar Jackson capable of running the ball at any time, the Vikings need to focus on the run, while being very aware of Jackson’s passing game.
Aaron Jones had his best game of the year last week, picking up 78 rushing yards, including a season-long gain of 31 yards. The Vikings need Jones to test the Ravens’ rushing defense, which has improved over the last two weeks, but has not been great early in the year.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Minnesota Vikings Betting Picks and Predictions for Week 10
This is a tough game to pick, as both teams looked good in Week 9, but have big question marks surrounding them because of their performances earlier in the year. The Ravens are the more talented team, but they struggle to hold onto leads, and they are playing on the road against a motivated club. With the odds being what they are, the value is on the Vikings to win.
The betting pick is for the Minnesota Vikings to beat the Baltimore Ravens.
