The AFC North will have one team make the NFL playoffs in 2025. That team is likely to either be the Baltimore Ravens or the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams have identical 6-6 records heading into Week 14 of the 2025 NFL schedule. The Ravens hold the top spot in the division because their record against common opponents is better than the Steelers’. Sunday’s game in Baltimore will break the AFC North tie, at least for one week.
Baltimore comes into Week 14 coming off a bad 32-14 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. Quarterback Lamar Jackson went 17 for 32 with 246 yards of passing. Jackson did not throw a touchdown, but gave up the ball three times against the Bengals. Jackson threw two interceptions and surrendered two fumbles. The loss to Cincinnati ended a five-game Baltimore winning streak.
Pittsburgh staggers into Baltimore having lost two in a row and five of its last seven games. The Steelers lost 26-7 to the Buffalo Bills in Week 13, a game in which QB Aaron Rodgers played with a broken wrist. Rodgers went 10 for 21 for 117 yards. He threw no touchdowns and no interceptions, but gave up a fumble.

Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Breakdown
The Pittsburgh Steelers began the Aaron Rodgers experiment with a 4-1 record in 2025. Things have not gone well since Week 7 for the team, who sport a 3-5 record since then. Rodgers has struggled as of late, going four straight games with one or zero touchdowns. In his past three outings, Rodgers has thrown for fewer than 165 yards. In Sunday’s game, in which he had 117 yards, Rodgers played with a cast on his broken left wrist. He is expected to start against the Ravens.
The Steelers can’t count on the passing game right now, and that’s a big problem if the team cannot establish a running game. Pittsburgh is 27th overall on offense this year with an average of 281.7 yards per game. The club ranks 24th in passing yards (187.8) and 29th in rushing yards (93.8).
Historically, the Steelers have had a strong defense, which has been able to bail out the offense when it has struggled. That has not been the case this season, as the defense has been inconsistent. The defense allowed 123 yards passing against Buffalo and 249 yards on the ground. Overall, the Steelers’ defense is 28th in the NFL, allowing an average of 365.1 yards per game.
There is a lot of finger-pointing in Pittsburgh right now, with most of the focus on Rodgers and head coach Mike Tomlin, a loss to Baltimore will not stop that.
The Baltimore Ravens looked to be back on track with the return of Lamar Jackson in Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens won that game and then reeled off three more victories before stumbling badly against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, losing 32-14 at home. The Ravens need a bounce-back performance in Week 14 from Jackson, who did not look great against the Bengals. Lucky for Baltimore, the Steelers have their own, more significant problems than the Ravens.
Jackson had a lot of passing yards against the Bengals, but he could not get the ball in the end zone, so those yards were mostly for naught. Jackson also made several costly mistakes, giving up the ball three times, while failing to deliver a big play to compensate for those errors. Jackson needs to spread the ball more against Pittsburgh, as more than half of his completions and passing yards went to Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews.
The Ravens need to get things right against the struggling Steelers if they hope to make the playoffs and advance past the first round, as they have games against Cincinnati, New England, Green Bay, and Dallas coming up.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens Betting Picks and Predictions
The oddsmakers seem to have lost all faith in the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into the team’s Week 14 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. With the team struggling on both sides of the ball, that is somewhat understandable.
The Ravens should win this game, but the odds are such that taking a flyer on the struggling Steelers might make the most sense.
The betting pick is for the Pittsburgh Steelers to beat the Baltimore Ravens based on the odds. If the odds get tighter as the Week 14 game nears, it will make sense to switch that pick to Baltimore.
Now is the time to get in on betting on the spread for the Steelers vs. Ravens. The Ravens are currently listed at -6.5, so the betting pick is for the Steelers to cover. That line is likely to get tighter as game night approaches.
