Believe it or not, only eight teams remain in the hunt to potentially win the Super Bowl this season. The Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs arrived this past weekend, with some surprising results getting posted. Now, the Divisional Round is coming and people can’t wait. With that said, the Las Vegas sportsbooks are already gearing up for the 2026 Super Bowl.
This is no surprise at all, as the Super Bowl is always the biggest and best sporting event when it comes to betting for the City. People make their way from all over the world to Sin City for the action, as parties are thrown all over town, while the casinos and sportsbooks have countless televisions showing the game. It adds to the user experience for people in town.
While the betting is still going to be quite high for the postseason games leading up to the final, there’s no question that things are going to go into overdrive once Super Bowl week gets here. For a lot of people, they plan their annual vacations around the Super Bowl and they have Las Vegas as their destination for where they end up going. This year will be no different.
Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the wheels are already in motion for the local sportsbooks and casinos to get things rocking for when Super Bowl week arrives in early February. While the game might be played in Santa Clara, Calif., this year, that doesn’t mean Las Vegas won’t be packed for the big game. It will be interesting to see which two teams end up playing for it all.
The Seattle Seahawks are slight favorites to win the 2026 Super Bowl
With Vegas getting ready for things to get going, it’s important to keep in mind that the Seattle Seahawks are slight favorites to win the 2026 Super Bowl. This may come as a total surprise to a lot of people, as the NFC West side did not have super high expectations leading up to the new year. However, Seattle has been dominant this season and they took home the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
After a first-round bye last weekend, the Seahawks are getting ready to host the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night in the Divisional Round. Funny enough, Seattle beat San Francisco on the road late in the season to lock up the NFC West title and No. 1 seed. Sam Darnold has looked strong with the ball in his hands, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been one of the best wideouts in the game.
“I’m taking it one day at a time,”Darnold said recently. “It’s been a whirlwind, just the NFL season, just preparing one week at a time. That’s the best part about it. You celebrate a win like this and then tomorrow you might celebrate a little bit too because you have a bye. But then we’re right back to seeing what we can do better and how we can get better for the next game. That’s the beautiful thing about the NFL and what we do.”
According to the best sports betting sites, the Seahawks hold +270 NFL Vegas odds to win it all. Having such great Super Bowl betting odds has fans hopeful that Seattle will get the job done. Winning the title at the 49ers’ home stadium would make things even better for Darnold and his teammates. Soon enough, we’ll see if the Seahawks are able to take home the trophy or not.
The Bills are an AFC team that can’t be forgotten for the Super Bowl hunt
Meanwhile on the other side, keep in mind that the Bills are an AFC team that can’t be forgotten for the Super Bowl hunt. Is this going to be the year that Josh Allen is finally able to pull things off? That’s what everyone in Buffalo is hoping for, as Allen has been close to getting the Bills to the Super Bowl, but he’s never managed to play in the big game yet in his career.
With the Ravens and Chiefs no longer in the chase for the AFC title, the assumption is that the Bills are in the best spot possible to finally get over the hump. However, the Bills have been way too inconsistent on offense and that’s been a major concern for this team. Allen is hoping to keep things going, though, as the No. 1 seed Denver Broncos are coming up next.
We don’t have to tell you that countless people in Vegas are going to be keeping a close eye on that game, as bets are sure to be through the roof for that one. Will Allen be able to lead the Bills to an upset win, or is another heartbreaking result going to be on the way? We’ll find out soon enough, but you better believe that Vegas bets on the Bills are going to be coming on strong.
