It’s hard to believe, but the Super Bowl is around the corner. That’s right, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots were winners during Championship Sunday and now they’re going to be playing in early February with the Lombardi Trophy on the line. In the end, quarterback Drake Maye was able to make the necessary plays for New England to come out on top.
With the Super Bowl up next, Seattle holds -110 NFL Vegas odds to come out on top. Meanwhile for the Patriots, they’re the underdogs with their +125 Super Bowl betting odds. Something tells us this is going to be a close game, but a lot of people think the Seahawks will win. While normally people expect a ton of points with the Lombardi Trophy on the line, we think that the under should hit between the Seahawks and Broncos in the Super Bowl. Surprising right? Well, the thing here is that both teams have pretty stellar defenses and we think both units are going to look quite sharp when these two teams face off in the near future.
For Seattle, the offense is led by Sam Darnold, Kenneth Walker and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The New England defense is no question going to have its hands full in trying to slow down that group, especially after Seattle’s offense looked so darn strong in the NFC Championship Game against the Rams. The Patriots will have their hands full going up against the Seahawks.
Seattle’s defense will also hope to slow down Maye, TreVeyon Henderson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Stefon Diggs and more. The pass-rush is going to need to put consistent pressure on Maye, which we think is going to be the case. For this one, the over/under has been set at 45.5 points. With such strong defenses, we think the under will hit here. Regardless, it should be a fun Super Bowl to watch.
