NBA action on Saturday night does not have marquee games, which is why we have chosen to bet on the Denver Nuggets and the Detroit Pistons from The Palace of Auburn Hills. Neither one of these teams has had a good season, but the Nuggets are at least sitting at the .500 mark with a 24-24 record. Detroit is nine games under .500 coming into tonight, which is why we like Denver on the road.
Nuggets aiming for seventh straight over Pistons
Denver has dominated Detroit lately, entering this contest with an impressive six-game winning streak in the series. This is the first meeting between the two teams this season. Their second and final meeting will come in the month of March. Denver is not a good road team, having dropped three of their last four games away from home, which does not bode well coming into tonight. Overall, they are 10-13 in opponents’ buildings this season.
Detroit trying to find ways to win each night
Detroit is having one of those seasons where they need to find a new way to win almost each time out on the court. With a 20-29 overall record, the Pistons are not in the playoff picture right now, but still have time to record wins. They are only 1.5 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference standings right now. Detroit’s biggest worry right now is closing games in which they have a lead.
This season in the NBA has not been as exciting as many had hoped, as too many teams are sitting at or below the .500 mark to make nightly games interesting. This is why we are stuck with Detroit and Denver tonight in Michigan. We visit SportsBetting.ag today to bet on the Nuggets and the +105 money line as they continue their recent dominance over the Pistons.
