LAS VEGAS POKER ROOMS

LAS VEGAS POKER ROOMS

Vegas and poker go hand-in-hand, don’t they? From the World Series of Poker (WSOP) to the lavish poker rooms of today, Las Vegas remains a poker player’s dream. Right now, there are around 18 active poker rooms in the Las Vegas area. We’ve personally played in numerous Vegas poker rooms, which makes us qualified to determine who the best ones are in the city right now.

Best Poker Rooms in Vegas

We’ll be honest — putting together a list of the best poker rooms in Las Vegas was no easy task. But someone had to do it, right? And who better than us, having played in these rooms over the years? Here are some of our favorites, listed in no particular order. We’ve also included a few now-defunct rooms for reference and nostalgia.

Bellagio Poker Room

Play where the pros play at one of the 37 poker tables in the 7,000-square-foot Bellagio Poker Room. The famed Legends Room — formerly known as Bobby’s Room, named after 1978 WSOP champion Bobby Baldwin — continues to host some of the highest-stakes cash games in the world. Poker legends like Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harman, and Phil Ivey have long been regulars here, and the room remains one of the most prestigious venues in Las Vegas.

Venetian Poker Room

Recently reopened in a brand-new space inside The Venetian, the poker room spans nearly 14,000 square feet, making it one of the largest and most luxurious in Las Vegas. It features 39 state-of-the-art tables offering limit and no-limit Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Stud games with stakes for every level. The high-limit section provides exclusive tables, premium dining options, and exceptional service for players seeking a more elevated experience.

MGM Grand Poker Room

When it comes to comfort, service, and nonstop poker action, few can match the MGM Grand Poker Room. This 25-table, non-smoking room is open 24 hours a day and known for its friendly atmosphere and professional dealers. Popular games include limit and no-limit Texas Hold’em, Seven-Card Stud, and a rotating mix of specialty and mixed games for players of all skill levels.

Caesars Poker Room

After a period of closure, the Caesars Palace Poker Room has officially reopened in 2025 with a refreshed design and a more intimate layout. The new space spans roughly 4,500 square feet and features eight tables, offering a premium yet comfortable environment for players. Caesars now focuses on cash games and daily tournaments, continuing its legacy as one of the Strip’s most iconic poker venues while adapting to the modern Las Vegas poker scene.

Wynn Poker Room

The Wynn Poker Room sets the standard for luxury and professionalism on the Las Vegas Strip. Its 26 tables host a wide range of games and stakes suitable for every level of player, from casual newcomers to seasoned pros. High-limit games are available on demand, and the Wynn continues to deliver some of the most prestigious poker tournaments in Las Vegas, including events on the Wynn Millions schedule.

Binion’s Poker Room

Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel is widely credited with bringing poker to the global stage. Blending decades of rich heritage with a modern, welcoming atmosphere, it remains a must-visit destination for any poker enthusiast. After all, Binion’s is the original home of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) — where the game’s modern legacy began.

Orleans Poker Room

Just west of the Las Vegas Strip, The Orleans Hotel & Casino Poker room features 35 tables in a “Big Easy” setting reminiscent of Bourbon Street After extensive renovations, the Orleans poker room is now equipped with state-of-the art plasma televisions and luxury furnishing.

Palms Poker Room

The Palms Poker Room once offered a welcoming mix of low-limit games and some of the highest-stakes action in Las Vegas. Players enjoyed generous rewards through the Palms Club and convenient tableside dining around the clock. However, the poker room has since closed, making it a fondly remembered spot among longtime Vegas poker players.

Rio Poker Room

Once home to the World Series of Poker, the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino poker room was known for its professional WSOP-certified dealers and diverse tournament schedule. It hosted up to four daily events and offered unique variants like Badugi, A-5 Triple Draw, and 2-7 Triple Draw. However, the Rio poker room has since closed, marking the end of an iconic chapter in Las Vegas poker history.
