Anyway, with the competitive part of the world championship all but over barring some catastrophic injury, options exist. One could wager on Moto2 or even Moto3 futures. Manuel Gonzalez is around -600 to win the Moto2 title. Aron Cadet is the closest rider at +500. Cadet has the ability to at least keep things interesting over the second half of the campaign.
Okay, Moto3 is a little different. Jose Antonio Rueda is threatening to make this a Marquez-like runaway. He is now around -4000 or so to win the championship. His closest pursuers are now in the -2500 to +3500 range. If this sounds familiar, that is where Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia are now. Sometimes scoping out potential races ahead could prove more profitable.

If there is a time to wager on Bagnaia, it may be here. The Italian has triumphed three straight times. Maybe the break is the best thing that can happen for Bagnaia now. Truthfully, it may be his only hope of making the world championship race look a hair more competitive.
The reality of the MotoGP 2025 season is this. It’s all but over. Now, there lies a minuscule chance but Bagnaia can have no more missteps and needs a ton of help. Winning Austria (expect to see +300 to +500 odds) would be a great start as he has more value than Alex Marquez who is content on riding the coattails.
The MotoGP 2025 Futures Bets wonder could Jorge Martin win a race?While Aprilla and Martin were all but headed for a divorce, they abruptly kissed and made up. Crazy things happen in this sport and Martin’s injuries and team issues loused up the 2025 campaign. However, if he races most or all of the remaining 10 races, is there a chance he could ride to top form?
Surely, we saw glimpses of this in Czechia where Martin finished seventh. More time with his bike should give the rider hope. Martin finished second to Bagnaia last year in Austria. Can he generate the pace and speed of Marquez? That’s a great question. The Spaniard is great in the technical sections and that facet improved greatly from what we saw in his one race at Qatar. Granted, this may have been a low bar but Martin looks far more comfortable on the bike.
Alright, do not look for championship odds obviously. However, longer shot plus money will be following Martin throughout the second half. Early projected numbers peg Martin around +500 to win a race between now and Valencia in November.
Keep in mind, at some point Marquez will clinch and there will be bound to be a few races where maybe he lets off the throttle a little. That will open the door for the fellow Spaniard who camped out on the podium for the final seven stops of the 2024 season.
