Yes, those 2023 MotoGP French GP Picks ponder the 100th event for the series. That is quite the number. From a bit of history and perspective, it is hard to believe that the series started, err was declared 75 years ago by the FIM. Also, 48 races did not involve the premier class for various reasons. Nonetheless, this milestone is very significant.
When one looks at the early days, so much has changed. The designs are different. Also, racing is still dangerous but not quite so deadly. People forget there was a “sidecars class,” too. Thankfully, that was abandoned in 1997. The MotoGP bikes grew more and more powerful too. Now, the top series features racing bikes that can top around 200 mph. Most get mesmerized by the speed and agility of what we see today.
None of the teams, riders, or brands that mark the origin of the series exist today. However, it is important to pay homage to what came before and what may come after. Who knows what the sport may look like a year or even a decade ago? One thing is certain. Change is inevitable, and fans will keep coming back to watch.
People ask, so why do we look at the opening numbers for the French GP? Vegas Sports Betting loves to take some fun small wagers on long shots and risks. With the MotoGP French GP Picks, a bettor likes an idea of which contenders are trending as possible options for this week. As conditions heat up and the Spring moves along, different track dynamics increase the potential for results against the grain.

The season previews hinted that France errs Le Mans may be wet. The possibility of a wet Sprint race is more and more likely. The good news lies in suggesting that Sunday may feature more tranquil and sunny weather. Conditions are expected to dry out as the day rolls along on race day. If the Sprint is not disrupted, expect the Red Bulls to be very good. Do not be surprised if they also ride high in the standings on Sunday.
That is why at Vegas Sports Betting, we attempt to make some order out of the disorder so far. Taking Brad Binder to win the French GP in our choices is not far-fetched. As a matter of fact, among our contenders, could be our top choice? Perhaps.
2023 MotoGP French GP Picks cannot forget about Enea Bastianini. It sounds predictable, but could Bastianini repeat after winning in 2022? Now, that is possible. Consider that Francisco Bagnaia crashed out last year and traditionally does not fare well in slick, wet, or damp conditions. Bagnaia has won under these circumstances, but his chances go down well. Unfortunately, Bastianini still is out.
Enter Marc Marquez into the equation.
With Miguel Oliveira and Enea Bastianini ruled out again, the list of injured riders has grown substantially in the last few days 😔👇https://t.co/8ZU7wPDYhH#MotoGP | #FrenchGP | #MGP1

On the bright side, Marc Marquez won his appeal with FIM. Therefore, he does not have to serve any penalties and can qualify as scheduled for Repsol Honda. Marquez, before he got hurt, had one rather fast bike. It would have been interesting to see what he could have done in Argentina or Spain.
Again, two important things happened early. With the injuries, Marquez saw an early bump. Who knows what condition he is actually in? However, some believe he will race as the Spaniard normally does. Marquez understands you go full throttle and safe is death. One may want to see where his numbers end up by Saturday. However, he could contend.
For 2023 MotoGP French GP Picks, did anyone consider Jack Miller? Miller has also ridden pretty well over the past few races and wound up less than a second behind teammate Brad Binder.
That race featured some interesting conditions. Could the same happen again on Sunday? Now, this is possible. The difference is how much the numbers have changed on BetOnline. Miller shortened down to +850 after being around +1100 in mere hours. That may move.
Jack Miller comes to Le Mans on an incredibly competitive KTM package 💪

Knowing he's always been great in France, will he fight for the win at the French Grand Prix this weekend?🥇🔥#MotoGP | #FrenchGP pic.twitter.com/vOpxGWzo2A
The fact that Miller knows this track and has won here before (recently in 2021) remains important. He is one of those Australian riders that senses when and when not to take risks. His sensibility on what could be a changeable track (as far as conditions) may pay dividends on Sunday at Le Mans.
Do not sleep on Jack Miller? That number is trending downward. We told you so.
Online betting sites, like Bovada and MyBookie, like Bagnaia but maybe look elsewhere this weekend.
