Marco Bezzecchi | +600 | +600 | +700 |
Jorge Martin | +650 | +700 | +700 |
Brad Binder | +3000 | +3000 | +3300 |
Fabio Quartararo | +5000 | +5500 | +6600 |
Johann Zarco | +5000 | +5500 | +6600 |
Luca Marini | +6500 | +6000 | +6600 |
Marc Marquez | +8000 | +8000 | +10000 |
Alright, those 2023 MotoGP Season Betting Picks start looking down the standings for the series. There lies a lot of uncertainty with 13 races still to go. The lessons of Francesco Bagnaia’s epic comeback from almost 100 points in the standings tells us a lot. Also, it allows us to go digging down the list.
When one looks at the odds from before Portugal, Francesco Bagnaia was around +150 to win the title. Now, last year’s World Champion is at best a -400 favorite. Much can change between now and even the end of the summer. However, significant shifts are even more prevalent as we delve further down the points race. One of the more headscratching moments had to be the bookies that felt Marc Marquez could contend.
Most Spanish riders owe so much to one of the all-time MotoGP champions. However, Marquez finds himself 19th and 179 points from the lead. Basically, injury and a DNF or two has derailed his 2023. Enea Bastianini is in the same basic position. Even Alex Rins (who won a race but injured) is now 147 points off the pace.
Maverick Vinales looked good after three races. Since, the Spanish biker managed a mere 11 points dropping him to 12th in the title chase. Can drivers like Alex Marquez, Fabio Quartararo, or even Jack Miller mount a charge among the longest shots?
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper. Vegas Sports Betting goes for the long miracle shots here. When it comes to the MotoGP Season Betting Picks, a bettor typically does not take wagers like this. Again, our key point of emphasis lies with the idea of the tiniest monies wagered. As one can see, all it takes is four or maybe five races to noticeably change the standings.
The season numbers shifted dramatically for some riders. Take a look at guys like Fabio Quartararo and even Johann Zarco. Zarco is fifth in the points but the DNF in Norway puts a damper on his push up the standings. As for Quartararo, he started out well enough but 30 points in the past five races will not do. Quartararo started +1600 and is now +5000 to +6600. Zarco is the same despite better results.
These Grand Prix numbers lie all over the place. Okay, the mere idea that Johann Zarco is at high as +6600 on BetOnline is something else. While Quartararo and his team cannot seem to get his bike to run among the leaders, Zarco can push those riders. At the very least, he is worth a look. For those wondering, Zarco has never won a race in MotoGP but already has four podiums. Is he knocking on the door? It may be worth pondering.
2023 MotoGP Season Betting Picks face more doubt from this next group of possibilities. It seems easy, but what about racers like Luca Marini, Jack Miller, and even Aleix Espargaro. Keep in mind, Espargaro was well into contention last year before falling off over the final five races. He accumulated a mere 18 points in that span falling from second to fourth. Can he reverse course and mount a charge?
We have not even mentioned some even higher risks have we?
The good news for Luca Marini backers is he is still within 100 points of the world title. Despite some lackluster results, Marini is sixth in the standings. Points can be accumulated more quickly with the sprint and the race. However, a 37 point sweep is rare. After all, only Francesco Bagnaia pulled that feat off and he did it twice. The feeling is Marini would have to come awfully close a few times to catch up.
Again, Jack Miller remains on the radar too but two DNF’s and nearly a third cost him dearly in the early going? Miller needs some help as well and that Far East schedule could provide that. However, how far could he be behind by then? This is why. out of guys like Espargaro, Miller, and Marini, one stands out. That, of course, would be the Italian.
2023 MotoGP Season Betting Picks, ask can we get back to Binder? Brad Binder takes tons of risk and that has cost him some golden opportunities at points. However, he is still fourth in the standings and again 80 points is not an insurmountable deficit this early.
When we saw the new numbers come out on BetOnline. Binder moved to +3300 after being around +1600 just a few races ago. Even with a solid point total at TT Assen, the KTM rider did not move the needle when it came to Las Vegas.
The notion that Binder fell this much on MyBookie leads one to believe there could still be value. Do not sleep on Binder.
Online betting sites, like BetOnline and MyBookie, are yes on Binder as a long shot.
