Believe it or not, there are already odds out there for not only who will run for United States president for the next election, but there’s also odds for the winner. Joe Biden is of course favored to come back for a second term, but could someone actually take over White House in his place? In this piece, we have picks for the USA presidential race in 2024, which you surely want to read up on.
As you might have been able to assume, Joe Biden is the favorite to win the 2024 election in the United States. It’s not often we see a president be one and done with a term, though we did in fact have that be the case with Donald Trump. Biden took down Trump in the 2020 race, even if Trump refuses to accept that he actually lost. Nevertheless, Biden is in office with Kamala Harris as his VP.
Biden has made it quite clear that he’ll be ready to roll come 2024, as he has every intention to keep going as president of the USA if he’s voted back into office. Thus far, he’s made quite the splash among the American people, with many of his policies implementing positive change. He’s also been praised for how he’s been able to handle vaccines and the pandemic as a whole.
US 2024 odds | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Biden to win | +350 | +350 | +350 | +350 |
Harris to win | +375 | +375 | +375 | +375 |
Trump to win | +600 | +600 | +600 | +600 |
The Rock to win | +2000 | +2000 | +2000 | +2000 |
Per the Las Vegas sportsbooks, Biden has +350 presidential election odds to repeat as USA president. Interestingly enough, Harris has +375 odds. If for whatever reason Biden decides he actually doesn’t want four more years at the White House, then Harris would be the favorite for sure. She’s been a great VP and she also has dreams of one day becoming the first female president.
With that said, it really will be interesting to see how things shake out here. If Biden does run, then we think it will be tough for anyone to beat him. He pulled off a bit of an upset when he beat Trump, so seeing someone from the republican side come in and get the votes to kick him out of the White House seems a bit difficult. In this instance, Biden is our pick. Do you agree? Check out our betting sites, like Bovada, to get a wager in.
The question everyone wants to know is will Donald Trump run for president in 2024? He still continues to deny the fact that he lost this most-recent election to Biden, claiming there was voter fraud and that he was robbed of another four years of office. While Trump is allowed to say whatever he wants, facts are facts and he clearly lost this one to Biden.
However, we could see him run for president once again in 2024. He currently holds +600 odds of not only running for president, but winning the election as well. Trump has plenty of supporters, which of course includes the people who stormed the capitol after he lost to Biden. Trump recently said that those rioters were simply trying to get him back in office. They did it in the worst way possible, however.
“They showed up just to show support because I happen to believe the election was rigged at a level like nothing has ever been rigged before,” Trump said. “There’s tremendous proof. There’s tremendous proof. Statistically, it wasn’t even possible that (Biden) won. Things such as, if you win Florida and Ohio and Iowa, there’s never been a loss.”
While Trump continues to live in a fantasy world that he didn’t win the 2020 election, he could give things another go in 2024 and try to get some revenge on the man he refers to as ‘Sleepy Joe.’ Only time will tell if Trump decides he wants another shot at the White House. While we do think that he will run for office, we don’t believe he’ll win. Biden remains the bet.
Another question to keep in mind: who else could potentially run for US president? There are some head-turning odds out there, which include multiple celebrities. For example, Las Vegas bookmakers have given out odds for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who is of course known for being a superstar wrestler and actor. Per Vegas, The Rock has +2000 odds to be the next president. What?!
“I do have that goal to unite our country, and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,” he said in a previous interview. “I am passionate about making sure our country is united, because a united country, as we know, is its strongest. I want to see that for our country.”
A recent poll suggested The Rock could have a decent amount of support. Others being considered are Jeff Bezos, Tucker Carlson, Ivanka Trump and others. At the end of the day, this really feels like it could come down to either Biden or Trump, if both end up running. However, if Biden steps down, Harris, again, would be an interesting pick. In this instance, probably best to stay away from the celebs.
