Some notable missteps were leading up to the National Title for Alabama last season. That included a near loss to Florida of all teams after Florida was a double-digit underdog at the time. No one could have seen that coming even with some of the players Alabama rostered. It just goes to show anyone that at any given time, near scares can happen.
Now, that being said, Alabama found a way to regroup. They easily defeated Notre Dame in the semifinal and routed Ohio St. 52-24 in the College Football National Championship game. The Crimson Tide showed why they were favorites in the college football odds and also why the college is again going into the 2021-22 season.
Alabama is the only team that can just turn it off and turns it on like a switch other than maybe Clemson. Even then there are just a few teams in sports that can do this regularly. They are a team that can literally win anywhere. It does not matter if the game is at home, a neutral site, or in a hostile environment. The Crimson Tide finds ways to win. Between Nick Saban, the rest of their coaching staff, and players, Alabama has the resources to contend once again for the National Championship.
Always looking for signs that the team is motivated and improving. Check out a comparison of July 2020 to 2021…number of players above college football average for split jump power. We were really good last year. Just about an entire roster of guys above the line now! pic.twitter.com/GdNpJU7TxI

This is where the debate for College Football odds begins. Naturally, their schedule is one of the tougher ones in the country. They go on the road to Texas A&M for starters. Alabama will likely see either Florida or Georgia in the conference championship.
It is easy to see why Alabama is the favorite once again. They are the most dominant team heading into this year. The Crimson Tide eye their seventh national title under Nick Saban.
Ahead of the upcoming season, the College Football odds are out and they favor Alabama. The Crimson Tide has been listed between +200 and +300, while every other college is +425 or greater. For perspective, Alabama should easily convincingly beat their first several opponents.
It comes down to the start. Alabama is one of the best at making early-season statements. Playing Miami (Florida) at home should allow them to get their reps and yet face an opponent that can test them during the first half at least. After that, the depth of the Crimson Tide expects to be way too much for Miami to handle.
The biggest tests of Alabama’s season again will be at Texas A&M in October and the Conference Championship game. It seems that this is said every year.
For the NCAA College Football Odds, our best bet is still Alabama to repeat this upcoming season.
Clemson expects to be a formidable opponent. They have not only won the National Championship in 2016 and 2018 but they were the runners-up in 2015 and 2019. Throw out last year’s bubble and that is a four-time in a five-year stretch that would impress any pundit.
Clemson plays in the ACC Conference which honestly is just not all that tough. Yes, Notre Dame is there and so is Florida State. They will not play Notre Dame in the regular season and their stiffest test may be a Georgia team that often stumbles in season openers. Another reason, Clemson is so good is the following:
If you watch Clemson from week to week, they don’t run the same looks or same strategies.

They have to be the most prepared defense in college football. I would love to be a fly on the wall for a week to see how they do it with the limited time.
The other key for Clemson is simple. They just have to keep winning. No style points are needed early in the season. With the computer polls that take six weeks to come out, the AP and College poll matter very little early because the Tigers will be in the top two or three more than likely.
One thing to note is that Clemson often starts strong. It is part of why they have been in the National Championship mix since 2015. After Georgia, Florida State on October 30th is their only other test until the Conference Championship. They should have a pretty easy road compared to Alabama.
The Alabama Crimson Tide carried less value to win the College Football national championship with bookmakers like MyBookie. That was earlier in the summer. Now, the university is a little less of a favorite. However, the futures are still off the board on some sites so do keep an eye out.
The Crimson Tide was +350 entering at the start of the month. Now, they hold only +225 odds to go back-to-back.
Of course, there is. Take a look at Texas A&M at +3500 via Bovada. They have shown the ability to upset Alabama in the past. Also, Coach Jimbo Fisher can make any team dangerous especially in the college football bubble. Oklahoma and Ohio St. have to be considered slight threats. However, Texas A&M is just +1800 at MyBookie. Bovada gives one nearly double the college football odds.
Take the Alabama Crimson Tide to win another national championship.
