NASCAR drives the haulers East all the way to Bristol, Tennessee. Now, there expects to be some somewhat happier faces as the event will be run on concrete. No dirt will be on the track for this year. Also, there lie some intriguing choices for this week. Toyota guided the way to glory last week. However, can the 2024 Food City 500 Bets point us to the way to some green on St. Patrick’s Day?
Now, VegasBetting delivers us the NASCAR online betting odds for the fourth points race of the 2024 season. So, let us break down these 2024 NASCAR Food City 500 Bets by the numbers. Currently, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, and Christopher Bell are the three favorites. Hey, could there be a surprise instead?
NASCAR 2024 Bristol Numbers | |||
---|---|---|---|
Kyle Larson | +450 | +425 | +475 |
Denny Hamlin | +500 | +525 | +525 |
Christopher Bell | +550 | +600 | +580 |
William Byron | +1100 | +1000 | +975 |
Ryan Blaney | +1100 | +1050 | +1000 |
Chris Buescher | +1100 | +1100 | +1100 |
Kyle Busch | +1200 | +1200 | +1150 |
Brad Keselowski | +1200 | +1200 | +1200 |
Tyler Reddick | +1300 | +1300 | +1400 |
Ty Gibbs | +1300 | +1400 | +1400 |
Ross Chastain | +1800 | +1800 | +1800 |
William Byron and Christopher Bell thrived last week. However, Bell kept his “rocket ship” of a car on the track while Byron had an unfortunate incident. Sometimes, that is how it goes in NASCAR, sadly. Could one of them win in the 2024 NASCAR Food City 500 bets? Bell won last week and Byron has been close for a few weeks now.
The 2024 season brought some nice chaos early to Daytona and Atlanta. However, Phoenix got a little too predictable for some. Once Bell was in the clear, that was it. He raced to victory. A battle between Bell and Byron would have been fun. Sadly, we were deprived of that in Phoenix last Fall as well. Some keep asking about the two drivers and Byron is getting some longer shot buzz at +1100 on Bovada. That is interesting.
As for Bell, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has led 22% of the laps driven at Bristol since 2021. Whether it is dirt or concrete, Bell can rack up laps on the lead. The problem has been closing the deal there. Bell has two Top 5 results but zero victories. He has led 330 laps in the past two races on concrete alone. Again, the Toyota’s have been super fast right up until the final laps.
Hey at Vegas Betting, we know Bell is +575 at MyBookie. A Top 5 on Bovada pays at -140. That may be an intriguing option or the Top 3 at +160. Let’s opt for the former.
So, is it crazy to consider Ty Gibbs? The last three winners at the concrete short track of Bristol have found a way to take the lead late and run with it. 2024 NASCAR Food City 500 Bets shine the light on a driver who has been close to win number one several times including one not too long ago.
Again, there are so many reasons to stay off of Gibbs. Denny Hamlin owns the 23XI Racing team and knows Gibbs or even Tyler Reddick could win this race. Yes, this race is 500 laps at 0.533 miles per lap. Both drivers have been very close to winning at Bristol. Many feels that Gibbs in his No. 54 car has a real chance of breaking through and getting win number one in Tennessee.
Alright, let us trade some paint! Ty Gibbs has been right there on tracks like this. He was close in Phoenix and had a Top 5 car speed-wise by the end of the race. Now, the question becomes can Gibbs seal the deal? If there is a time, it may be now. Gibbs figures to qualify well and be in a good position to contend on Sunday from Bristol.
People know that it is a matter of time and some of the other young drivers are ready to jump into the limelight. Right now, with only cloudy and mild conditions, that should favor the Toyota cars. Once more, Gibbs maintains as our top choice for this Sunday’s race which starts again at 3:30 pm EDT.
Alas, we have more 2024 NASCAR Food City 500 Bets. Yes, looking at a Top 5 for Ty Gibbs still pays out at plus money (+175 on Bovada). While looking at results further, many will be on Brad Keselowski because of previous results. He gets owed a lot of respect. However, the young guns are ready to race for that win on Sunday. Remember, this is a day race and not at night.
Keep in mind, Chris Buescher may be the better RFK Racing choice for Sunday. Buescher has been very good this season in the early going. The Ford driver fought his way to second at Phoenix and nearly won the race. Buescher has shown, even from 20th, that he can contend at Bristol. He won in 2022 leading 169 laps and ended up fourth in 2023.
Buescher resides at +1100 on Bovada and pretty much across the board. It is fun to start playing with props but we hit with Top Toyota and Top Ford. Check to see where the No. 17 Ford comes in for Top Ford this week.
Are there any shots at some long darts for Bristol? We mentioned the younger drivers. Noah Gragson is +5000 at MyBookie and Carson Hocevar is now +8000 on Bovada. These are two drivers who have punched above their weight this season.
Gibbs is our 2024 NASCAR Food City 500 Bets choice for Sunday.
