2024 CFL MOP Props allow us to go in a different direction heading into the new Canadian Football League campaign. After all, this year, quite a few candidates are getting hyped up in a big way. Chad Kelly (2023 winner) will not be one of them (suspended). However, this opens the door for quite a few offensive position players. Could we even mentioned an extra wildcard? So, Vegas Betting asks who may be on our list.

Vernon Adams Jr. | +350 | +350 | +350 |
Zach Collaros | +400 | +420 | +425 |
Brady Oliveira | +900 | +800 | +850 |
Cody Fajardo | +900 | +900 | +850 |
Bo Levi Mitchell | +1000 | +1200 | +1200 |

Tim White | +2200 | +2500 | +2500 |
Vernon Adams Jr. starts out as the early CFL MOP props favorite. A few bettors like the idea even if a large majority believe in better candidates. Bovada Vegas online sportsbook has seen this That is why 2024 CFL MOP numbers this season are a bit spread out. Zach Collaros would be a favorite but does have an early preseason injury to at least monitor.
Now, Adams Jr. has the potential to go over 5,000 passing yards this year. He hit nearly 4800 and ended up with 4,769. Add in 31 touchdowns to 18 interceptions and it is that latter number which worries wagerers the most. Adams Jr. can make plays but risk sometimes is not reward. He did have 324 yards rushing and an additional touchdown but with several fumbles.
If you are into the CFL, I found a cool futures bet on Vernon Adams Jr.’s pass yards — over 4,325.5 (-112 on FD).

VA played well in his first year as BC’s starter. He threw for 4,769 yards, 31 TDs, and 18 INTs. Adams should have similar numbers this year with a good core of WRs. pic.twitter.com/aFTIREHLA7
So, the numbers should still be good with a very good to excellent wide receiver corps. Unfortunately, can Adams Jr. limit those mistakes? That may be a big reason why he does not take home the award. Then again, do the outrageous potential for yards sway voters enough anyway? Adams led the next closest quarterback by more than 500 yards in 2023.
Okay, 2024 CFL MOP Props bite on the +350 number for now. With no Kelly and Collaros potentially losing votes to Brady Oliveira, this may be the year for the BC Lions signal caller.
There’s Winnipeg and that split dilemma. It is on many minds. Winnipeg became a favorite yet again with the Chad Kelly news and really few believe even BC will challenge in the West. The irony was how the Blue Bombers were done in by Cody Fajardo and the Montreal Alouettes. Fajardo was cast off from Saskatchewan and got hot at the right time. He tossed three touchdowns against Winnipeg – a team that tormented him in years past.
One of the best things about Winnipeg is their ability to pile up the yards. Yes, Zach Collaros racked up more than 4,200 yards passing with a league-leading 33 touchdowns through the air. The quarterback added two on the ground. He did have 15 interceptions, however. Then, there was Brady Oliveira who ran for over 1,500 yards and added 482 yards receiving for a 2000+ yard season from scrimmage.
I believe I just saw Brady Oliveira jog for the first time in camp. He remains on the Veteran Injured list.#Bombers #CFL

Yes, both Collaros and Oliveira need to be healthy as soon as possible. However, the long game is the priority and not the MOP. Winnipeg had won twice, missed the past two seasons, and want redemption in 2024. Individual statistics are not completely on their mind. Now, if Oliveira could possibly top his 2023 campaign, he might be a Running Back who has a shot in a Quarterback dominated field.
The regular season expects to feature many opportunities for both Collaros and Oliveira to have their share of highlights. It again boils down to health for both players. Out of the two, Oliveira is the longer shot which gives him a little bit of value here.
2024 CFL MOP props beg some other options to consider. Again, going down the list often reveals some intriguing talents. Can Cody Fajardo throw a few more touchdowns with a post Grey Cup bump? Yes, the chances should be higher and Toronto’s misfortunes open the door a bit in the East. Fajardo, like Oliveira, enjoys a solid +900 number.
Again, what do we look at when it comes to Toronto? Honestly, there is little with so many concerns about the offensive line. No protection and little blocking takes away a good deal of potential. Cameron Dukes will be the starter more than likely. However, his chances just do not appear all that optimal.
Another team is Calgary and Jake Maier. Maier honestly is a long shot at +2500 but the Stapeders’ signal caller has a chance if he can limit the mistakes and throw more than 19 touchdowns. Maier says he has learned some new things. Now, it is almost time to prove it.
For CFL Playoff MOP props, we do have something to consider that is actually off the board.
What about one crazy choice? Does one consider Nathan Rourke. Rourke was incredible in 2022 as quarterback for the BC Lions. Before a late-season injury derailed his MOP chances, the player was setting records and well on his way to glory. If he gets waived by the New York Giants, at what point does Rourke consider going back to the CFL. The fit would have to be there though.
Again, a lot of things would have to break right but wow that would be something.
