Could Jey Uso pull off the upset on WWE Raw this Monday night? Bovada online sportsbook tossed in some numbers along with a few other sites. Now, this will not be easy as he faces Drew McIntyre. Then, to top that off, there is a match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Ricochet. Expect an interesting show with a few unannounced surprises, too. It figures to be a three-hour show full of a little bit of everything.

The WWE Raw Bets get the week started on Monday with a bevy of matchups and feuds. Naturally, we get to see a new wrestler on a run. Jey Uso made the transition from WWE Smackdown and seamlessly has continued his winning ways. Now, he gets a chance on Monday night to go up against one of the better wrestlers out there. Drew McIntyre is accomplished in his own right. McIntyre got to the highest of heights.
So, some ask how high? The Scottish Claymore is his trademark finishing move. McIntyre used it to defeat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 36. With that, he won the WWE Championship. He made some title defenses before losing to Randy Orton, then won the title back. He had two title runs, which totaled nearly 300 days. Needless to say, he is still a formidable opponent in the WWE hierarchy.
Now, this is where some get surprised that this is a main event. Yes, McIntyre can draw anywhere, but many have asked where the heck Uso has come from. The young wrestler is far from a fluke. He rose through the ranks in WWE NXT. At the recent “Supershow” (WWE Raw and Smackdown wrestlers combined), Uso surprised Bronson Reed, who had enjoyed quite the winning run himself.
The 38-year-old Samoan from San Francisco, California, dances and wrestles like a man half his size. People forget the rigors of the wrestling industry. Uso more than paid his early dues and now is seeing the rewards. The Uso’s is what Jey was more known for. They were heels, tag-team champions, and much more. However, the wrestler now makes his mark in singles.
So, can Jey Uso pull off a win on Monday night? There lies much uncertainty because that +115 to +130 range was not something most expected for this match. After all, Uso just hopped back from Smackdown to RAW. It is not easy to make that kind of transition. Furthermore, runs like this do not come easily. One has to get a push, and this Uso does have that potential.
Now, like we said, Drew McIntyre is far from any kind of slouch. The 36-year-old wants to make his own path back to a WWE Championship shot and beyond. A win on Monday would go a long way towards that. He is not going to give this match to Uso. If anything, this main event might live up to the hype and then some. Though they have not faced each other, both wrestlers can definitely put on a match or a show.
So, the fun thing is realizing how great of a main event this could be. Uso is an underdog here, and rightfully so, as McIntyre is closer to a title shot than some may choose to believe. However, there is this feeling that the Samoans may have a leg up here.
Yes, that -155 number for McIntyre is a little much for our liking. If that goes any further, do not wager! When it boils down to WWE Raw Betting Picks, there are certain numbers not to cross. Making smaller dollar bets becomes smarter here. Uso may not win, but that wrestling ability and pedigree at +130 is enticing to try and place some money on anyway.
What about some more WWE Raw Bets? Let’s have fun with this, as there is another spotlight match of sorts. Shinsuke Nakamura goes up against Ricochet on Monday. Nakamura is a big favorite, and everyone can see why. He is another one of those wrestlers on a nice run. He is in the -400 to -450 range to bet on Monday. That is quite a number for a match like this.
Meanwhile, Ricochet has the potential to win this bout. However, things are not set in his favor. Even the betting experts on wrestling tend to agree here. Ricochet lists as a +250 to +275 underdog for this match on Monday night. It gets more interesting, considering his record as a tag team wrestler. He has had some more success there. The Intercontinental Title last year gave Ricochet all three secondary WWE Titles.
So, the next step is to get up to the top tier. That proves to be more of an obstacle so far. Nakamura will not make it an easy match. He has been to the heights before. The 43-year-old has more than 20 years of experience in the business. From NJPW to WWE, Nakamura’s experience is well documented. Take the Japanese warrior in a fairly quick win on Monday night.
