NASCAR heads back to Texas for this week’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400. Now, the good news is that this will not be a short track. The bad news is the same drivers tend to dominate this 1.5-mile track (Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Tyler Reddick). Hendrick Motorsports cars swept the podium last week. So, can the 2024 Texas Motor Speedway Bets help us to another afternoon in the green?
VegasBetting brings the heat with some more NASCAR Vegas online betting odds for the ninth points race of the 2024 season. So, let us dig into these 2024 Texas Motor Speedway Bets by the numbers. Currently, Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick, and William Byron are the three favorites. Hey, could we see a return to victory lane from Chase Elliott?
NASCAR 2024 Texas Numbers | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
---|---|---|---|
Kyle Larson | +400 | +375 | +350 |
Tyler Reddick | +600 | +600 | +575 |
Denny Hamlin | +650 | +700 | +675 |
William Byron | +700 | +700 | +675 |
Ryan Blaney | +850 | +900 | +900 |
Martin Truex Jr. | +1000 | +1000 | +1000 |
Christopher Bell | +1200 | +1200 | +1100 |
Ross Chastain | +1400 | +1200 | +1200 |
Chase Elliott | +1400 | +1400 | +1400 |
Ty Gibbs | +1600 | +1800 | +1700 |
Bubba Wallace | +1600 | +1800 | +1800 |
William Byron struck again last week. However, that was not enough as Hendrick Motorsports celebrated with a podium sweep by Byron, Larson, and Elliott. Even Alex Bowman finished inside the Top 10. 2024 Texas Motor Speedway bets ask could this happen again? Now, there will be a few drivers who can have a say about that.
The 2024 season hit hard with the chaos button but Byron has now won three of the eight events in this year. He expects to finish near or at the top of the regular season points. It will not be enough to get to the Final Four, Byron’s goal is to win that first NASCAR Championship. As always, that will not be easy but Texas has seen Byron go 3-for-3 in Top 10 results.
With Byron, he has led 11% of the laps of the laps driven at Texas since 2021. Whether it is short or intermediate track, the No. 24 car has this look of a young Jeff Gordon or even Jimmie Johnson. Two of the three wins this year have been due to great pit strategy from Rudy Fugle. A splash of fuel and four new tires led to a glorious victory past his teammates (both who have won NASCAR titles).

Naturally, at Vegas Betting, we know Byron is +700 at Bovada and BetOnline. A Top 3 on Bovada pays at +200. That may be a pretty solid idea given his results. Let’s opt for the podium here.
So, is it time for Chase Elliott? The last three winners at Texas include Byron and Kyle Larson. Add in Tyler Reddick and the reality is these drivers have a common thread. 2024 NASCAR Texas Motor Sports Bets spotlight the No. 9 driver who looks in the best form he has in more than a year.
Again, there remain reasons to be a little leery on Elliott. Byron and Larson combined for 51% of the laps led since 2021. Elliott has led 4.8% of the laps and does have a seventh in 2021. Add in the fact that the Hendrick Motorsports driver was sixth after Stages 1 and 2 last year and a potential exists for a win. The 2020 Champion led 44 laps in 2022 before an accident derailed his afternoon.

Alright, let us get aggressive here! Elliott with back-to-back Top 5 results serves notice to other drivers and even his teammates. Elliott is one of those drivers that is a bit below the radar when it comes to the books. He shortened to +1400 across the board via the biggest sportsbooks.
People understand that Elliott keeps getting closer and closer to a checkered flag victory. It is kind of nice to see a driver with a real chance to win. Right now, with warmer conditions expected, that should favor the Toyota and again the Hendrick cars. Once more, Elliott is a fun prime choice to wager at the intermediate Texas track. Yes, the race starts at 3:00 pm EDT.
Okay, digging further into the 2024 Texas Motor Speedway Bets. Yes, potential Top 3 or podium choices are interesting. However, we can dive into this a bit further. There are a few plus-money driver props worth taking a second look.
Keep in mind, everyone expects Ryan Blaney to do well. He did win the All-Star race two years ago and had a fourth-place result that very Fall. However, Chase Elliott seems to be showing a bit more of that 2020 form. At +125, Elliott merely has to finish better than Blaney. That is not the only driver prop.
Taking a real risk involves Ryan Preece over Chase Briscoe. Briscoe really enjoyed some solid results on the Texas track. On the other hand, Preece could benefit in the Stewart-Haas Ford car. Briscoe enjoyed back-to-back Top 10 results. Preece enjoyed an excellent +13 place differential. The thought is he could qualify better than 22nd. Preece is not in group betting but that +150 number is reasonable.
Are there any shots at going outside the box for Texas? We mentioned a driver like Alex Bowman who is +2800 at MyBookie and Erik Jones at +8000 on Bovada. These are two drivers who have a chance to surprise on Sunday afternoon.
Elliott takes the cake as our 2024 NASCAR Texas Motor Speedway Bets choice for Sunday.
