Despite no Grand Slam wins in 2025, Aryna Sabalenka is favored to repeat as the US Open Champion. She is only around +250 though and the Women’s 2025 US Open futures could move a little more. Now, the twist with Sabalenka is this. She can absolutely obliterate a tournament like last year in Queens or she can completely implode like in Australia and Paris.

So, women’s 2025 US Open futures ask another question. Will the world number two gain win for a second time in Queens? Despite her 33-11 record and one title, the American stepped up in a huge way at the French Open defeating Aryna Sabalenka in three sets. She fought persistently until she broke in the final set to seal the victory and the championship.
The American has won the US Open before. People forget that Gauff went on a magical run in 2023 where she again defeated Sabalenka in three sets after another slow start. One of Gauff’s biggest weaknesses may be her start. Once the baseline game gets going, look out! Furthermore, many do not realize that she is still only 21. It is amazing to believe that Gauff did not make the quarters last year in Queens. Yes, the tournament was uneven for her. She did rise up and win the year end WTA event on hardcourt. 2025 featured a slow start after losing in Australia, Gauff regained her form during the clay season but lost in the opener at Wimbledon. Grass is probably her worst surface and the courts at Flushing Meadow are more to her liking.

If one has not watched an ounce of women’s tennis lately, you should get on YouTube quickly. Mboko’s game has blossomed before many eyes. She may be only 18 but has shortened to +2000 already. The Canadian Open winner can make a deep run even only ranked 24th.
Mboko is one of our favorite choices to win at +2000. However, one gets the feeling that Navarro could be the real surprise if she gets her game back in form in time for late August.
