It’s wild how things can change so quickly. Not long ago, it seemed like Arsenal was going to have no issues whatsoever in winning its first Premier League title in more than two decades. However, the Gunners keep dropping points and it’s a worry for fans. Well, Arsenal is clinging to the top odds to win the 2026 EPL title, with Manchester City hot on their tails.
In recent weeks, Manchester City has been on a total tear, with Pep Guardiola and his men playing at an incredible level. Erling Harland has of course been sensational, but the defense has really picked up its pace. It has been tough for other teams to down City. Manchester United managed to upset them earlier this year, but that’s been the lone hiccup of late for this team.
As for Arsenal, they also lost recently to Man United, which was a stunner. Mikel Arteta is hoping that his team can keep posting wins and do so in convincing fashion. Thankfully, a win over the weekend at home against Chelsea helped calm some nerves. There’s no question that Arsenal is going to have to keep posting wins and hope the MCFC drops points too
According to the best Las Vegas sportsbooks, Arsenal currently holds +175 Las Vegas odds to win the title this season. Manchester City is right behind them with +225 odds English Premier League betting odds. This is going to be a see-saw battle all the way to the end and it’s a toss-up on how things are going to go down. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal will be able to hold off City or not here.
Manchester City is our pick to win the 2026 EPL title
While a ton of the focus right now is on if Arsenal will hold on or not, we’re ready to say Manchester City is our pick to win the 2026 EPL title. Time and time again in recent years, Arsenal has been in a great spot to close things out late in the season and win it all. Yet, they’ve dropped the ball. We think things are going to be the same this year, as City and Guardiola will be able to make a push, even after drawing against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.
“Disappointed for the result,” Guardiola said after Forest managed to pull off a surprising draw at the Etihad Stadium. “We did everything again, we didn’t concede much and we had the chances at the end especially, but yeah, keep going.”
Looking forward to potentially placing a bet or two on soccer action down the road? Keep in mind that the best sportsbooks out there are consistently offering up new deals and special bonuses for people to get in on the fun. This year will be no different, as the end of the EPL season will be thrilling. Because of that, we’d recommend taking advantage of the promo codes that are popping up.
As for the race between City and Arsenal, things are going to be quite tight the rest of the way. Fans for both teams likely have April 19 circled on their calendars, as the two Premier League giants will face off. That game could end up deciding who will win it all – the two teams tied 1-1 in their other game this season. We’re picking Man City to win that April game, plus the league title as well.
Will Manchester United finish in the Top 4 this season?
Outside of the battle for the league crown, a big question people have on their minds is will Manchester United finish in the Top 4 this season? It has been a whirlwind of a campaign for the Red Devils, as the club fired Ruben Amorim midway through the year, which no one saw coming. Club legend Michael Carrick has taken over and MUFC is now in the hunt for Champions League football next season.
That of course is not going to be easy, as MUFC is battling Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea for a Top 4 spot. United’s recent run has been great to see, with striker Benjamin Sesko living up to the hype. The Slovenian striker has scored some massive goals of late, including game-winners against Fulham and Crystal Palace at home at Old Trafford.
After missing out on European football this season, United must do whatever it takes to get back next year. Things are going to be tough there too, but with Sesko, Bryan Mbuemo, Bruno Fernandes and others playing so well, United has a great chance to get this done. We are picking them to finish in the Top 4 and head back to the Champions League next season where they belong.
