The 2026 Men’s Curling Olympic Bets, featuring top teams from around the world, will be held in early February at Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium in Cortina, Italy.
Keep in mind that not too many of the leading sports betting sites have released odds. However, we have just enough to make some early picks and wagers. A few sites even have the ladies as well. That might be an even more competitive field. While the Canadian women are strong favorites in the -200 to -225 range, the opposite is true for the men.
Remember to always take a look at the top Vegas betting sites where you can wager online and choose the best option. As of now, the Canadian men are in a bit of a somewhat enviable position. The pressure is not squarely on them this time around. Not all of the 13 counties have qualified just yet. However, most of the contenders have so that will be the focus here.

Canada looked like they were going to win the Men’s World Championship earlier in the year. They were a dominant 11-1 in the Round Robin and had Scotland tied at 4 after seven ends. Then, everything fell apart. Bruce Mouat and Scotland scored in the eighth and added two in the final end to seal the victory. From there, Scotland struck gold holding off a game Switzerland. Canada settled for routing China to gain the bronze.
This year has seen Canada stay second in the World Rankings behind Scotland. Switzerland and Sweden are dangerous as always, however. Then, there is Great Britain. For Olympic years, Scotland becomes Great Britain to clear up any confusion. Bruce Mouat and company truly believe this is the year. Oddsmakers seem to also as they have shortened all the way to -105 via Bovada and around Even most everywhere else.
Canadians have deep rooted connections here but in the last Olympics, the Men took only a bronze medal while the women did not medal at all. Great Britain won gold and silver but the silver came from the men. The women exceeded expectations and took home the glory!
At the start of the year, it looked like Brad Gushue and Bruce Mouat would automatically face off in the Olympic finale but that is not a complete certainty. When it comes to Men’s Olympic Curling Bets, Great Britain feels destined and if Canada does not stop them then who does? Keep updated on the news as always and let’s look at the countries.
Great Britain became even more of a Men’s Olympic Curling Bets Favorite after a great season from Scotland and Bruce Mouat. It was more than winning the World Championship. Mouat and company are the best squad to not win a Gold. Arguably, supplanting Canada and Sweden is no easy thing to do. The pressure is the only thing that could potentially derail Great Britain in the end.
The European squad and Mouat stand out because of the four Grand Slam wins and second World Championship. However, Mouat admits becoming better athletes has helped but also being at peace with who he is. Yes, he is openly gay but his ability to curl has only found even higher heights. It remains a big reason why Great Britain opened at plus money but has since tumbled to around Even.
Everything points to the time being now for the team that has won everything. It would end a 102 year drought as Great Britain last won the gold in 1924 when curling was a demonstration sport. Great Britain remains our top pick.
Canada stands out as the most successful nation in these tournaments, boasting an impressive total of 36 gold medals—24 more than second-place Sweden and 30 more than Scotland. However, Canada has won three gold medals and been the most consistent since curling came back as an Olympic sport in 1998. The only year they did not podium was 2018 in South Korea.
Under the leadership of skip Brad Gushue, they keep winning gold at the Pan Continental competition —notably, several of the top curlers hail from Canada.
While Canada won the Gold in 2022, they are not the favorite this time around. That lends a little value to a squad who knows what it takes to win when it counts.
The Men’s Olympic Curling Bets wonder if Sweden is a forgotten country. Now, it has been a bit of a tough year for the Swedes. That is no secret. Sweden has gone from favorites at the end of 2024 to being an afterthought in Italy. That remains unfathomable and yet here we are.
Traditionally a formidable team, the Swedes have claimed a total of 12 men’s world curling titles and have triumphed in five of the last seven world championships. After getting knocked out of the medals (settled for fourth) at the Worlds, things only got worse.
Rasmus Wranå and Christoffer Sundgren have seen the top-ranked team in the World slip to third and their form has barely been inside the Top 5 this year. However, the Olympics can always create an unexpected spark. The question becomes can they get back in form?
If any team can make waves in the round robin then the playoff brackets, it would be Sweden.
