UConn vs Butler bets serve us up with some prime College Basketball odds for this Friday night. Both teams have 10 or more wins on the season and both have lost in Big East Conference play. Now, the question is what will happen between these two teams. Let us take a closer look at this tilt.
UConn vs Butler bets dip into the Big East Pool this Friday night. Now, for those thinking the Huskies will have an easy time of it, think again. Did anyone happen to see how UConn fared in the Big East last year. Yes, there were several stumbles from the school. Everyone knows what happened in the NCAA Tournament. However, the Huskies recently lost by 15 points to Seton Hall.
No Seton Hall even in bubble consideration is a crime.

Wins at home vs reigning champ UConn and at 23 Providence apparently means nothing https://t.co/7VNftRMBfd
Again, Seton Hall is far from a slouch and probably should be further in the NCAA Tournament conversation. Understandably, it is early in the season and there are still a couple of months before conference tournaments even begin. Butler finds itself in the same boat but is at least on the bubble. A win over UConn would help their cause and start building that resume.
Consequently, some in betting circles get concerned about UConn in a spot like this. BetOnline Vegas Online Sportsbook Review weighs in with what appears to be a close affair. Many expect the Huskies to win by 8-12 points at least. However, what if they do not? Furthermore, could Butler surprise us and spring the mild upset on Friday night. Is fourth-ranked UConn set up for a loss?
UConn vs Butler bets get enamored with the idea of taking a risk on Butler. At VegasBetting, we are willing to hope for a one or two-possession game at the end. This game is part of a triple header on FS1. Following UConn-Butler, there is Illinois and Purdue. After that, Boise State and San Jose State cap off the night in exciting Mountain West Conference action.
Currently, Butler played a tougher schedule up to this point. Their simple rating system rankings are different. UConn comes in 16th and Butler is 48th. Again, the Bulldogs are far from stiffs at home where they are 8-0 at Hinkle Fieldhouse. This is a team that can beat the Huskies. After all, anything can happen in the Big East. Butler nearly took out Providence on the road before Seton Hall did on Thursday night.

Now, this looms as a more critical game for Butler. They have lost two straight games and were more or less blown out by St. John’s earlier in the week. The Bulldogs need a big bounce back on Friday night. Honestly, there is little doubt that Butler will be ready for the defending national champions. UConn knows they will face a Bulldogs team that has a little more bite than usual.
Few bettors give Butler much of a chance. However, that offense can pop for 75-80+ points at home. That is our biggest hope as maybe UConn gets caught looking ahead. Normally, that does not happen. Despite the risk, we like the Bulldogs to cover over the Huskies on Friday night.
UConn vs Butler bets ask will there be points or even more points here? Wagerers side with the Over here more than not. Many believe that the two teams could easily combine for more than 150 points. Currently, that line rolls in at a mere 145.5. That seems very reasonable for two teams who can score some points. Yes, the Big East can feature some knock-down drag out games. However, Butler plays with more pace and less defense.
So, Butler is led by its guard-play. The Bulldogs do have a huge 7-foot Center but the four guards who average in double figures are the key. Their speed and rebounding ability could serve them well against an athletic UConn team. Even the Huskies admit, they know this game will be a test and need their veterans to pull through. Now, it sounds like the kind of language where the Huskies are at least concerned.
College Basketball Betting Picks like this Game Total a lot. Wagering hard at 145.5 points is worth it. Some want to climb up the ladder. If the line goes above 147.5, then pass. Again, do not go too high here. The temptation to go to 149.5 is high and we like the idea. However, there are more valuable options on the table.
Simply, the UConn vs Butler Bets like several wagers here as again UConn possesses four players of their own who hit double figures. The balance of both teams and how they attack the basket could set the table for a very entertaining Friday night affair. Check to see where the first half Over ends up at. This could be worth placing a few dollars on.
NCAA basketball online betting sites dives into Big East basketball. Do not be surprise if some consider the Moneyline for Butler (which might exceed (+200). Also, this is just the beginning of what figures to be an entertaining weekend of basketball. Marquette and Seton Hall do battle on Saturday. Villanova grapples with St. John’s. Both are afternoon affairs.
We truly have only just begun the conference meat grinder. Good luck Friday night!
