The NBA Finals Picks wonders if Denver can keep things rolling on Friday night in Miami. Miami tried to make things interesting but Denver’s front court was too powerful in Game 3. Now, the Nuggets stuck to what they do best and slowly down Miami’s perimeter game. The question is can the Nuggets keep it going. Bovada online betting Vegas sportsbook offers some more bets for Game 4 Friday night.
NBA Finals Picks boiled over on Wednesday night. Now, Denver was expected to adjust but it seemed like Miami was almost unprepared for what came in Game 3. Add in the fact that Miami’s shooting seemed to dry up and that was a recipe for disaster. What may be more sobering is the reality that the Nuggets could have easily blown out the Heat in Miami. Denver was, by far, the more polished team. Maybe Michael Malone’s ranting actually worked.
Whatever the reason, Denver held Miami to 94 points in Miami. That is not easy to do. One of the bets we liked was Denver scoring more than 108.5 points. It was touch-and-go but Denver delivered. The expectation was that Denver’s defense would improve. While we figure Miami will make adjustments, the Nuggets are the better and more depth-laden team. Talent showed out on Wednesday night.
So, Nikola Jokic led the way in Game 3 with a historic effort. Now, with that Game 3, Jokic already connected on the over for 1.5 triple doubles. Combine that with the Jamal Murray triple double and the series over for 2.5 also hit the mark. Simply, the Denver duo racked up 66 points and were the first teammates ever to have a 30-10-10 on the same night. The Nuggets flexed their muscles in more ways than one.
Okay, what got lost in all of this was again that better defensive effort, but the Heat also missed their share of chances. Was that because Denver got back to switching better in their coverage? Partially. The bigger reason was the Nuggets took fewer plays off. Denver wore down Miami in the paint, withstood some runs, and crashed the boards as a team. If that continues, Miami stands little chance on Friday night.
The NBA Finals Picks have a little fun for Friday night. Granted, props are rapidly coming to the surface early. However, game props still appear to have an easier handle at this point and time. NBA prop bets take on some of the bets most fear grappling with. Keep in mind that no one is betting the bank or an immense amount of bankroll here. Now, these wagers consist maybe a few dollars here or there.
At Vegas Betting, we looked at more than a few options right after the Game 3 Denver victory. On the other hand, some wagers seemed ridiculous after a 15-point win. One alternate game prop bet was Denver winning by double digits. It was enticing but another intriguing wager came into focus. What if the losing team does not get to 100 points again? This is something at least worth looking into.
Bluntly, the Nuggets kept playing the percentages on the paint and creating offense through a delay flare DHO. Simply, it allows Denver to take advantage of mismatches and create chances stemmed from their defense. The flare screens give Jokic and Murray opportunities and occasionally Michael Porter Jr. too. If Denver even knocks down a few perimeter shots from this look, it creates matchup nightmares for Miami.
NBA online betting sites love more props for Friday Night’s Game 4. Some expect to open up closer to tipoff but fortunately some surfaced straight away. Denver carries a slightly better implied probability than the moneyline indicates. NBA Finals Picks likes the Nuggets to beat the spread while Miami gets held under 100 points once again.
NBA Finals Picks start poking around for value. Of course, Wednesday night turned out to be quite a night from a betting standpoint. It was very fortunate to see that historic triple double from teammates. Also, both players easily went to the over on their rebound props. That paved the way for Denver as they enjoyed a huge +25 rebound margin. Furthermore, it sets up different angles to shop around for.
With the series odds swinging again, the chance to take Denver -1.5 games has slipped out of value. That indicates books feel bullish for the Nuggets to grab a 3-1 lead. So, Denver must keep their focus while Miami has to drain a few more shots. Miami turned the ball over a mere four times. Look to see what Jimmy Butler gets for a turnover prop. That may be worth a small wager on the over.
Specials, props, and more could be on one’s menu for Game 4. If one has faith in the spread, Nikola Jokic scoring 30 or more points and the -3.5 weighs in at +194. Furthermore, among other player performance doubles, Michael Porter Jr. could be worth a look as a double of eight rebounds plus a Nuggets win pays out at +256.
Keep watch between now and Friday night.
At VegasBetting, we do not forget the NBA Draft. Yes, Victor Wembanyama is a lock to go number one. However, Ausar Thompson at +200 or Jarace Walker at +275 to go in the top five may be more one’s fancy.
