World Wrestling Entertainment is taking over Las Vegas this week with an exciting lineup of professional wrestling events, culminating in WWE’s biggest night—WrestleMania—this weekend.
WrestleMania will be held at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday and Sunday, featuring a star-studded roster of wrestling legends.
The main event promises to be thrilling, with Cody Rhodes facing off against John Cena for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
Friday Night Smackdown complements this grand event on Friday, NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday morning, and Monday Night Raw the following Monday, all at the T-Mobile Arena.
In addition to these main events, WWE World, a massive fan fest, will run from Thursday through Monday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

A significant influx of visitors is expected during this wrestling week. Projections indicate that about 180,000 people will come to Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, this influx is anticipated to generate over 144,000 additional hotel room nights.
City Prepares for Major Wrestling Event
On Monday, the city was already adorned in anticipation of the week’s wrestling festivities. Key locations showcased mock WWE championship belts, signage, and various photo opportunities.
Notable sites included Harry Reid International Airport, MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, and Fremont Street Experience.
The LVCVA has committed to a $5 million sponsorship deal with WWE to facilitate the event. This indicates that tourism officials expect a profitable week for Las Vegas.
Though a pre-event economic benefit estimate is not yet available, Jeremy Aguero, a principal at Applied Analysis, stated that his Las Vegas-based financial consulting firm will produce a post-event report.
Aguero echoed Hill’s sentiments, predicting that WrestleMania weekend could become one of Southern Nevada’s most significant weekends for tourism revenue in 2025, following November’s Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix.
According to Applied Analysis, the 2024 Grand Prix generated an estimated economic impact of $934 million.
As the wrestling week commences, a limited number of tickets for WrestleMania remain on Ticketmaster. As of Tuesday, prices for Saturday’s matches began at $140 (with limited views for the cheapest seats).

Aguero pointed out that this collection of high-profile events is significant for Southern Nevada. It positions the area as a competitive venue for future large-scale happenings.
