UFC 306, scheduled for Saturday, September 14, is the second sports event to be held at The Sphere. The NHL held its draft there in June.
Tickets for UFC 306 are priced at the highest face value ever for an event in Las Vegas. Seats in the upper levels start at $2,500 and go up to $23,437.50 for floor seats to the right of the Octagon.

As of Wednesday evening, only a few hundred face-value tickets remain on Ticketmaster out of the original allocation of 18,500.
On Ticketmaster, verified resellers struggle to sell their tickets. If these tickets are still available close to the event, their prices will likely need to be significantly lowered for them to sell.
This also includes the hundreds of tickets still listed at face value on Ticketmaster unless the UFC opts to give them away to VIPs, which seems probable.
Promoted as Riyadh Season Noche UFC two days later in celebration of Mexican Independence Day, the 10-fight spectacle is expected to feature an exciting lineup.
The main event will showcase bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley defending his title against the No. 1 contender, Merab Dvalishvili.
However, it’s questionable if the event justifies ticket prices ranging from $2,500 to $23,000.
According to Billboard magazine, Dana White justified the high ticket prices by stating that they were necessary to cover the event’s $8 million production costs.
He specifically mentioned creating video content for the Sphere’s massive high-definition screen.
However, Billboard now claims that White’s production costs have soared to $20 million. The UFC collaborated with external producers, including Valerie Bush and Antigravity Academy, who will showcase their 90-second videos between fights.
Although the UFC will recoup some of its financial losses through pay-per-view sales, White stated in a recent interview with MMA reporter John Morgan, “We’re not ever doing an event at the Sphere again.”
UFC CEO Dana White will be commemorated with a hologram on Saturday night at the Las Vegas venue, where he has vowed never to host an event again.
However, the hologram won’t be a permanent fixture in the Sphere, as the UFC commissioned it and will be removed after the “Riyadh Season Noche” bouts.
In addition to Dana White’s hologram, the Sphere’s Aura Gallery will feature holograms of fans’ “favorite fighters” for a unique selfie experience.
The holograms will be rendered in “life-size, volumetric 4K,” offering attendees a visually stunning experience.
While the specific fighters to be hologrammed were not disclosed, the event promises to be an unprecedented display of cutting-edge technology.
Despite the lack of visual representations, the excitement for this innovative showcase is palpable, with Proto Inc.’s CEO expressing enthusiasm for the first-ever Proto holograms at the Sphere.
