The casinos along the Las Vegas Strip are continually evolving, with numerous construction and renovation projects underway along the 4.2-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard.
One of the most notable developments since the Sphere Las Vegas project, which spanned from 2019 to 2023, is the upcoming stadium for Major League Baseball’s Athletics, set to break ground in spring 2025.

The iconic Tropicana Casino & Resort shut its doors in April 2024. It was demolished on October 9, 2024, to pave the way for a $1.5 billion, 33,000-seat baseball stadium for the Athletics, anticipated to be ready for the 2028 baseball season.
Additionally, Bally’s Corp. plans to build a new hotel-casino near the stadium.

Another significant venture on the Strip is the Hard Rock International Guitar Hotel, which is expected to open in 2027 on the former site of The Mirage Resort casino, which closed on July 17, 2024.
Meanwhile, the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino has embarked on a $300 million renovation of all 4,212 rooms and suites in its central tower, with completion anticipated in December 2025; the first phase of these revamped rooms began accepting reservations in March 2025.
In 2024, MGM Resorts International also joined forces with Marriott International to rebrand the renowned Delano Las Vegas, a non-gaming venue within the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino area, into a new W Hotel on the Strip, which reopened on December 18, 2024.
Additionally, Apollo Global Management’s Venetian Resort Las Vegas has initiated a major renovation project involving a $1.5 billion overhaul of its 4,000 all-suite towers and casino, which is expected to be finalized by 2026.
Clique Bar Renovation?
The popular Clique Bar & Lounge at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will close for a renovation project on May 1, 2025. The last day of service will be April 30.
MGM Resorts International has not provided details about the planned renovations or a specific reopening date.
However, a spokesperson said the venue is expected to welcome guests again in fall 2025. The renovation will be managed by the Phoenix-based design firm Petermax Co., known for its extensive portfolio of bar and lounge designs.
Clique Bar & Lounge is owned by Clique Hospitality, a company founded in 2014 by Andy Masi alongside partners Brian Massie and Shane Monaco.
In addition to Clique, the company operates several other establishments in Las Vegas, such as Caspian’s at Caesars Palace, Eight Lounge at Resorts World, and Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay.
A new nightlife destination is set to debut this summer on Las Vegas Boulevard.
As revealed by the Arizona-based Evening Entertainment Group, Bottled Blonde Las Vegas will be located at the southeast intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.
This venue is designed to transform from a laid-back Italian restaurant during the day into a vibrant nightlife scene after dark. It features a restaurant, bar, and beer garden.
This ambitious standalone project, which was announced in April 2023 and has a total budget of $50 million, is nearing completion.
Once finished, the venue will encompass 25,000 square feet across three levels, with an open-air rooftop lounge on the fourth floor offering stunning views of the Bellagio fountains directly across the street.
Bottled Blonde, the new $50 million 3-story sports and nightlife venue being built on the Strip, is expected to open this summer after some delay. Located near Horseshoe, it will feature a 38-foot LED wall, 40+ HD TVs, live music, DJs, and multiple bars. (📸 @KerryBilicki) pic.twitter.com/LlUAjN77jj
Situated next to Ole Red Las Vegas and within the open-air retail complex Grand Bazaar Shops, Bottled Blonde will encounter tough competition on the Strip, a bustling area filled with dining and entertainment options.
However, during the project announcement, Les Corieri, co-owner of Evening Entertainment Group, highlighted that the venue’s location is a “marquee” spot due to the high foot traffic.
This nightlife hotspot will boast various music zones throughout its three floors, a 38-foot LED wall, over 40 high-definition TVs, and 360-degree bars.
Its menu is expected to feature a selection of favorites, including truffle fries, mozzarella sticks, wings, sliders, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, and specialty cocktails like Capri Sundays and an extensive beer list.
In addition to its dining and nightlife offerings, Bottled Blonde will also be available for private and semi-private events.
In addition to its upcoming Las Vegas location, Bottled Blonde operates in Texas, Miami, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Nashville.
