The first four games of this series have provided NHL fans with plenty of excitement. The final scores have all been 4-3 so far; two in favor of Pittsburgh and two in favor of Columbus. Now, the two teams get ready for game five of their tied series on Saturday night at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. We think the Penguins will finally explode to win this contest and take the 3-2 series lead.
Penguins prepared for an all-out battle
Pittsburgh knew coming into this series that it would not be a piece of cake. Now, they really know how difficult it will be to advance in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Pittsburgh will need to find an offensive rhythm if it wants to win game five and move closer to the second-round of the post-season. The Penguins handed the game four win to the Blue Jackets earlier this week, but will make sure that does not happen again on Saturday night.
Blue Jackets aiming to take down one of league’s best
Nothing would make the Columbus fans happier than to send the Penguins to the off-season earlier than planned. Columbus finally won its first playoff game in franchise history in this series and now has the opportunity to take the all-important 3-2 series lead. Columbus won its two games in this series by coming from behind by two goals in each game, shocking the Penguins both times. Columbus would love to lead from start to finish instead of mounting a comeback en route to a win.
The oddsmakers from BetOnline.ag like the Penguins at home on Saturday night to win the pivotal game five of this first-round Eastern Conference series. We are going to drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Penguins and the -173 money line as they grab a third win in the series.
